Molecular Microbiology and Genetics

  • Omic technologies and functional studies for Bacillus subtilis to analyse the role of the dipeptide antibiotic bacilysin as a small global regulator in cellular physiology
  • Transcriptional regulation of cephamycin C biosynthetic gene cluster and pathway engineering to improve clavulanic acid and cephamycin C biosynthesis in Streptomyces clavuligerus
  • Proteomics and immunoproteomics of Bordetella pertussis and development of novel subunit vaccines
  • Development of OMV-based, re-designed and engineered vaccine platforms for pathogenic microbes.
